We are very pleased to announce that Colegio San José has been recognized as the best private school in Malaga in 2025 by the prestigious newspaper El Mundo, for the seventeenth consecutive year. This achievement not only reflects the effort and dedication that each member of our educational community puts in every day, but also reaffirms our vocation to offer a comprehensive, quality and future-oriented education to our students.

A Recognition of Educational Commitment to Excellence

The ranking published by El Mundo highlights the best schools in the province of Malaga, based on an exhaustive evaluation of 27 criteria covering different key aspects of education. These include factors such as teaching quality, pedagogical innovation, facilities, student level, academic results, and commitment to the integral development of young people.

In the case of Colegio San José, obtaining this recognition continuously since 2001, when it began to participate in the ranking of El Mundo, is the result of years of work in which we have opted for a modern educational model adapted to the needs of our students. The selection process carried out by El Mundo to rate private schools in Spain has focused on 27 key criteria, among which are included:

We would like to highlight the following results obtained by Colegio San José, which make us the best private school in Malaga:

PAU – Selectividad: 100% of our 2nd year Baccalaureate (class 2023-2024) passed the university entrance exams in the first round, with an average score of 8.3 points.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Program: 100% of our students passed the first exam, achieving a maximum score of 43/45 points.

PISA external international evaluation: The report shows that 4th year Secondary students at Colegio San José obtain a higher score than the average for Spanish schools and other OECD countries in Reading, Mathematics and Science.

Trinity and Cambridge examinations. More than 400 students pass these exams each year (the school is a member of the Platinum Examination Centre of Cambridge Exams Andalucía).

In addition, Colegio San Jose has received many external recognitions, academic recognitions, international awards, national awards, and regional, provincial and local awards in the 2023-2024 academic year.
